Keith Floyd, President of iNVISION GROUP, works with professionals to "change the world through practical leadership". He enjoys engaging with his clients, while cultivating them to become the people they are meant to be. Keith approached me to have a conversation in regards to a branding photography session to update his digital presence on his website and social media. Keith knew this would make him even more relational to his current & future clients.

Pre-Branding Photo Session Consultation...

In the pre-photo session consultation, we talked about where Keith thought he would like the branding photography session to be held. It is very important to me as a brand photographer and strategist that my clients have their sessions in a place that is on brand for them. We both agreed that a city or urban type setting would be the most fitting for his goals for this session.

And when it comes to the actual pictures, I never like them to feel too staged or stuffy. Keith also wanted to be sure that his photos created an instant connection with people when they would see these images. We both agreed that too staged would not create the connection he was looking to achieve or feel authentic.

How A Branding Photography Session Can Improve Your Digital Presence

There are so many ways a branding photography session can improve your digital presence. So, if you have been struggling with your online presence, you may want to take a look at why you should book your own branding session today.

First, as a business owner, you want people to look at you as a trusted expert in your industry. The only way people will do this is if they can get to know you, as a person and a business owner. During a branding photography session, the images that are created can be used on your website, social media platforms, blog posts, newsletter, and so much more.

Since the photos are of you, people will be able to see you as a person instead of the boring stock image that everyone else is using. Those pictures may even start conversations, which is the entire purpose of social media & branding.

It's Ok to share the person behind the business...

You may have the mindset of keeping your business and personal lives separate. However, in today's world, people love getting a glimpse into your personal life. Even just a little bit. So, try to share pictures of your family, your favorite vacation destinations, and even the every day activities that you love. You never know when something will spark the next conversation that will change your life. Always remember that you can control how much you allow people to see. It's Ok to share the person behind the business and keep parts of your life private.

All those personal photographs, as well as the business lifestyle pictures from a branding photography session can be used to share on your social media pages. These photos are considered quality content on these platforms. They will allow you to give you value, education, or entertainment to your clients or customers. This opens up the door to start a conversation without you asking for a sale.

An entrepreneur's branding photographer...

As an entrepreneur's photographer, I have worked with many people who are starting to build and have built successful businesses. I have worked with people who have had their business for years and those who work in the corporate world. Everyone I have worked with has used my photography sessions to improve their presence within their industry and set themselves apart.
