Fun & Candid Branding Photography Session with Mompreneurs...Samantha & Sarah
Samantha & Sarah are two brilliant financial advisors, as well as friends. They are the mompreneurs, that run Mama Knows & are both busy Moms balancing their business & families. When they approached me about doing a branding photography session I was super excited! I knew that Samantha & Sarah don't have a moment to waste in their busy schedules, which I can definitely relate to, so it was important to them & myself to keep the lifestyle branding photo session moving along. During our pre-photo session planning time, we discussed a few strategies to assure that the photo session flowed. One of the key strategies was a photo shot list.
Being prepared with a photo shot list...
Having a shot list ready to use was invaluable during this branding photography session. It kept all three of us on task, & not just drinking coffee, the entire time. The photo shot list consisted of details such as props to use, location (coffee shop at table or at home with computer), smiling photos, serious photos, etc.
Because Samantha & Sarah were organized with the photo shot list, we were able to create images that are filled with laughter & fun poses. Each image shows how approachable both of these ladies are. Being approachable is one of the top feelings that you want to evoke from the viewer with branding photos. The more approachable people view you as, the more conversations you will be able to start with potential clients or customers.
Capture Fun & Candid Photos With a Professional Touch...
The goal of the photography branding session was to capture fun & candid photos that have a professional touch. People not only do business with people they like, know, & trust, they do business with people they value.
Samantha & Sarah also wanted to incorporate the four pillars of their business: faith, family, health, & wealth. In our pre-session brainstorming meeting, we talked about how to incorporate the 4 pillars + a bonus pillar....their love of coffee.
Showing what you love, what you like, what makes you tick, gives a human & personal touch to your images. These personal touches also give more points or topics of interest for people to relate to when viewing your images, website, blog posts, etc.
